Blanket Run

Time: Meet at 9:30am for 10:00am departure

Location: Old Parliament House

Won't be long now and the 2008 Blanket Run will be upon us. This year all the proceeds ,that is, Goods and Cash will be going to Canberra Community Care a great charity supporting those in need across the Canberra and surrounding regions. The ride is to allow the motorcycling community to again demonstrate its support for those in need.

What to Bring: Non-Perishable food, CASH, Blankets and Warm clothes. All gratefully accepted

Route: Adelaide Ave to Woden, then back up Adelaide Ave, onto Commonwealth Ave and into Garema Place

Last year we had around 300 riders, this year we want heaps more and heaps of crowd support. So invite your friends, neighbours, and some strangers to line the route, join the ride, or be in Garema place to see all the motorcycles come in. It is one hell of a spectacle as the machines rumble around the circuit.
