Toy Run

MRA ACT's annual Toy Run, usually held in early December, departs from Old Parliament House and finishes at Garema Place (the 2008 Run will take place on Saturday 13th December). See pics from the 2007 Toy run here.

The Run is in aid of St John's Care and The Salvation Army, both of whom support those members of the Canberra community who are less well off.

Donations of non-perishable food, cash and Christmas toys for children of all ages are most welcome. However, not too many kids like cuddly toys at Christmas time (especially the older ones), so some thought should be given to bringing something that will be really special.
